DigMusiK

Acceptable use policy

Version 2026-11-03 · Last updated 3 November 2026

This policy is part of our terms of service. It applies to everything you capture, upload, publish, sell, write or say on DigMusiK.

1. Capturing

  1. Only capture hardware you own or have permission to use, and software plugins you're licensed to use, in a way their licences allow.
  2. Upload audio renders only. Never upload plugin files, installers, presets protected by their makers, or code.
  3. Only upload renders of our reference signals. Don't upload other people's recordings, samples or music as captures.
  4. Describe the chain honestly and credit every piece of gear and software in it.

2. Publishing and naming

  1. Name the sound and credit the gear. Don't use a manufacturer's product name on its own as a title, and don't suggest a manufacturer made, sponsors or endorses your signature.
  2. Don't publish signatures of products whose makers have opted out of public listing.
  3. Descriptions, stories, photos and profiles must be truthful and must not include anyone's personal data without their permission.

3. Selling

  1. Only sell plugins made from real hardware you own and have verified with us. Signatures made from software plugins must stay free.
  2. Don't sell the same unit's capture under a different identity, and don't misrepresent a unit's history, condition or provenance.
  3. Follow the creator agreement.

4. Protection and security

  1. Don't try to copy, decrypt, extract or redistribute signatures or protected plugins, or to train another model from their output.
  2. Don't get around device limits, licence checks, capture allowances or payment, share accounts, or create accounts to avoid a suspension.
  3. Don't probe, scan or test the security of our systems without our written permission, overload them, or interfere with other users. If you find a vulnerability, tell us at support@digmusik.com.

5. Illegal and harmful content

Don't upload, publish, write or link to anything illegal, including content that infringes copyright or trademarks, terrorism content, child sexual abuse material, intimate images shared without consent, threats, harassment, hate content, fraud or malware. Don't use DigMusiK to contact or target children. We remove illegal content as soon as we become aware of it, and report it to the authorities where the law requires.

6. Reporting and enforcement

Report anything that breaks this policy using the Report link on its page, or see our notice and takedown policy. Depending on how serious and repeated a breach is, we may warn you, remove content, hide your signatures, stop payouts for affected sales, suspend your account or close it. We'll explain our decision and how to appeal, unless the law or safety reasons prevent us.
